Just because... to see them in the metal.

| By Brice Goulard | 2 min read |

As Watches and Wonders 2023 kicked off, Rolex released its brand-new collection. And the Crown has put on quite an impressive show. No fewer than nine new models have been released, ranging from a new ultra-classic dress watch to a very surprising model with colourful bubbles on the dial or the latest generation of an emblematic 60-year-old racing chronograph. As we’re just heading out of our photo shoot with Rolex, we wanted to share our photos so you can see the new 2023 Collection of Rolex in the metal.

If you want to discover the details about the new collection, we invite you to read our articles:

And now, it’s time for the live images.

The 2023 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona collection

Here, you can see the new 126500LN in steel, the platinum version with an open caseback and the yellow gold model on Oysterflex.

The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium

A surprisingly light timepiece on the wrist with a genuine tool-watch look, the case is entirely matte, exuding a far lower luxurious feel than a classic Yacht-Master. Extremely pleasant to wear, despite a relatively large case.

The Rolex Explorer 40

The larger edition of the 36mm model released in 2021, the new 40mm Explorer is slightly larger on paper than the previous generation in 39mm; however, it feels pretty compact on the wrist.

The Rolex GMT-Master II GRNR Yellow Gold and Rolesor

The comeback of yellow in the GMT-Master II collection – either full gold or yellow Rolesor – coincides with the arrival of a new two-tone ceramic insert in black and grey. The Rolesor version is especially appealing.

The 2023 Updated Rolex Sky-Dweller collection

A mid-lifecycle update, the case and dials are identical in design, just with new colours, including a mint-green model in a steel case with a white gold bezel. The new calibre integrates the latest-generation escapement.

The New Rolex Perpetual 1908 Collection

A new dress watch for Rolex, with classic vintage looks, a thin profile, appealing decoration and a brand new automatic movement. The yellow gold model with a white dial presented here is refined, elegant and relatively discreet.

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual with Colored Bubbles

Quite honestly, a big surprise, a watch we could never have imagined… Probably the most creative and refreshing watch of the collection, although quite a polarising model. Available in 31mm, 36mm (photographed) and 41mm.

  1. Nice pictures, since none of them will be available in the metal! Oh, except to those who can use an AD as a black market supplier. And, of course, there’s the “grey” market. Ha!

  2. Why aren’t there any actual pictures of the Daytona in the new color combinations? Rose with sundust or bright black with steel subdials?
